Binah Team Windows

Overview

The Binah Team application is available in Windows and mobile versions. Its use requires the entry of login credentials associated with a specific account, similar to a banking app that everyone can download, but requires predefined credentials in order to log in and use it. Binah Team provides you with an easy-to-use vital signs monitoring app, allowing users to measure heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV),
respiration rate, oxygen saturation (SpO2), and mental stress levels, simply by looking at your device's front-facing camera. No additional 2 wearable devices or sensors are needed. The application provides a summary of vital-signs measurements and displays historical and trend analyses.

Main features and enhancements

The entry page to the application requires user identification and authentication, performed by entering an email and password combination.

  • New application users are being created in the My Binah Team platform, and are associated with a specific My Binah Team account.
  • Users receive a temporary password by email which must be changed following their first login.
  • The users are able to reset their password (user authentication via email).
  • An Internet connection is required in order to use the application.

Login flow

  1. Application users are added to the My Binah Team application user list.
  2. The user receives an invite email with login credentials for the first login.
  3. The user downloads the application.
  4. The user logs in using the credentials received in the email.
  5. The user signs consent to the user agreement.
  6. The user replaces the temporary password with a permanent password, and adds profile details.
  7. The user can review information on how to use the application (and best practices for taking a measurement).
  8. The user is logged into the system.

Profile

A user's personal data must be entered by the user following the first login and can be updated via the home.

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email address
  • Gender: Male/Female/Other
  • Birthday
  • Weight (kg/lb)
  • Height (cm/inch)

Packages

Each account is issued a license linked to a predefined package for users that are associated with the account. Users associated with the account can measure the vital signs that are supported by the selected package. Those vital signs are also available within the application history views.

  • Basic - includes 3 vital signs
    • Heart rate
    • Respiration rate
    • Oxygen saturation (SpO2)
  • Pro - includes 5 vital signs
    • Heart rate
    • Respiration rate
    • Oxygen saturation (SpO2)
    • HRV SDNN
    • Stress level

Measurements

Measurement

Measuring vital signs with the smartphone camera.

  1. By Face: by looking at the smartphone's front-facing camera.
  2. By Finger: by placing the index finger on the smartphone's back camera.

Both methods support the entire array of vital signs:

  • Heart rate
  • Respiration rate
  • Oxygen saturation (SpO2)
  • SDNN - a leading parameter of HRV, Heart Rate Variation
  • Stress level

Notes:

  • Always follow the best practices when taking a measurement to ensure that you will always get the best results.
  • In order to use the By Finger option, the mobile phone must have:
    • Rear camera
    • Flashlight on the backside of the mobile device.
  • Both Mental Stress and SDNN parameters are available in the summary report and not during the measurement.
  • The default measurement time is 50 seconds for the basic package and 70 seconds for the pro packages.
  • The user can stop the measurement manually by clicking Stop, and receives the vital sign measurements that were completed.
  • The fact that a real-time result is available does not mean that it's also available as part of the summary report.
  • The application constantly checks the input video it receives from the front camera.  As long as valid data is being collected, the measurement continues.
    • A warning message may be displayed if an issue is detected with the input video stream. The application user is expected to address the warning message in order to successfully complete the measurement.
    • Measurements are stopped when the system identifies an issue with the input stream which prevents the calculation of accurate results.

Measured results

There are two types of vital sign results: real-time measurements and in a summary report. In order to calculate valid, accurate results for a vital sign, a certain amount of data must be collected. The amount of required data is different for each vital sign, and also differs between the real-time measurements and the summary report measurements.

A summary report with all available vital sign measurements is presented after the measurements are complete. This view includes the following features:

  • Share results using applications such as WhatsApp, Email, Messages, Notes, Facebook, and WeChat.
  • Option to discard the current measurement results (do not save to history).
  • Additional information about the vital signs by clicking on the information buttons.

image.png  image__1_.png

History

All measurements are saved on the My Binah Team server and are presented to the user via the mobile app. The users can observe trends for each vital sign in graphs or find the values of a specific measurement in the log view.

A graph containing historical user measurements results for each vital sign filtered by one of the following time intervals:

  • Last week
  • Last 14 days
  • Last 21 days
  • The graphs present results for the first measurement taken each day. The user can see all measurements taken within a day via the log view (see the following section).
  • Additional information about the vital signs by clicking on the information buttons.

Logs

A list containing all historical user measurements results sorted by date:

  • Measurement type (camera or finger).
  • Heart rate, respiration rate, and SpO2 measurements results.
  • Measurement timestamp (date and time).
  • The user can open the full summary report of a single measurement session.

logs.png

Single summary result

The summary report includes the following features:

  • Share results by using various applications such as WhatsApp, Email, Messages, Notes, Facebook, and WeChat, etc.
  • Option to delete the measurement results.
  • Additional information about the vital signs by clicking on the information buttons.

Common issues and solutions

Android - Issues and problems
Minimum requirements for using Android devices:
Our Mathematical engine needs a good performance of the device but first of all you have to verify that your device has:
    • API level higher than 27
Note:

Sometimes your Android version can be 8.1 but based on a lower API level

  • CPU (instruction sets) of an arm64-v8a
How can I know my device real properties?
  1. You should download the application "Hardware info" which can be found here: Hardware info
  2. After installing, open the APP and expand the "System" tab and look for the API Level.

    IMG-20201101-WA0015.jpg

  3. To show your CPU, expand the "Processor" section and look for the "Instruction Sets"

    IMG-20201101-WA0016.jpg

My application is running but I am getting many warnings and errors.
To work with our application you must follow our best practices flow which can be found here: Best practices
I am following your best practices but still test stops every time.
In this case, your device does not have many performance points.
To verify that you can go to this performance site and verify your device's score is above 300.

How to avoid Binah emails from being marked as spam

Since there are some cases wherein Binah email invitations are being marked as Spam, please do the following to avoid this from happening again:

1.  Go to your Spam folder and if you found the Binah email on that folder, mark it as "not spam"

-  This helps your ISPs incoming mail filter to avoid marking the Binah emails as a spam

2. "Add us to your address book" - add our email address to your inbox or trusted senders list. By doing this, your email provider will not mark our email as Spam. You can follow this instructional video for the steps on how to do this on Gmail

3. "Star or Mark our email as Important" - A simple inbox action such as Starring an email or marking it as important can help tell the email providers that you want to receive emails from that specific address
